About

It is a great privilege to work alongside the Robertson Family in renovating & restoring the historic homestead and shearers quarters of Chowilla Station, approximately 40 minutes' drive North of Renmark, South Australia.

Chowilla’s (or ‘Tjowilla’) name derives from the Aboriginal word meaning “place of spirits and ghosts”. The rich history of the farm is evident, owned and run by the 5th Generation Robertsons, with the young family still residing on the property. Not only have we been given the opportunity to re-develop the historic buildings, but also the privilege to create new luxury off-grid, remote accommodation – more to come.
