Total Support Services Office

Previously a traditional, cubicle office structure, a key driver of the design was to enhance transparency and prioritise visual connection to provide a contemporary office space for up to 90 people.

The redevelopment was to accommodate the client’s headquarters for their disability support service company. Complementing the nature of the client’s business, the brief was to create a pragmatic, highly accessible building that achieved a high-end, bright and flexible office. As well as the internal fit-out of the building, works also included the addition of an upper level and balcony space, external landscaping and a new canopy.

Natural lighting to the Northern and Western facades is controlled through a new feature shade canopy consisting of vertical blades that shade the afternoon sun whilst still allowing daylight to enter through the fully glazed facade. Occupants overlook new external landscaping that surrounds the building in raised planter beds, and valuable indoor/outdoor breakout space is offered through the rooftop addition with lift access.

Zoned open office space is provided throughout the floorplate with private offices, meeting rooms and quiet rooms interspersed between to provide more intimately scaled spaces when required.
