Hotel Renmark Terrace

A driving force of the project was a commitment to Renmark community to provide a space for all to enjoy at the community funded hotel.

The project showcases a two-storey deck that extends from the Nanya Bistro & Restaurant, paying homage to the three-storey State Heritage Listed Hotel with its elegant curves and matching design elements. Offering breathtaking views of the river, the terrace serves as a versatile space for outdoor casual dining and functions. The seamless integration of indoor and outdoor areas is achieved using full façade sliding doors.

On the ground floor, a thoughtfully designed mix of polished concrete, timber cladding, and soft plantings creates two distinct seating zones, fostering an open yet intimate dining experience. The first-floor deck offers a spacious and open-plan area with expansive views of the Murray River.

The deck can accommodate casual dining, socialising, and private functions, including the recently hosted wedding for the Chair of the Hotel Board. Lush greenery in large terracotta pots adds warmth and softens the atmosphere whilst the restrained material selections result in an elegant, airy space.
