Adelaide Botanic Gardens Amenities

Located in the Botanic Gardens in Adelaide CBD, the design of the new amenities facility allows ample natural sunlight to fill the spaces through a large transparent roof and polycarbonate panels on the walls.

Bricks of matching color were uttilised alongside curved walls to seamlessly integrate the building into it’s the surroundings, making minimal visual impact whilst providing functional amenities for public use.

The building footprint has been carefully considered to accommodate the established trees to ensure minimal disruption to the existing plant collection in the garden. The amenities cater to the needs of various visitors to the Gardens, including male and female restrooms, a family change room, an accessible toilet, and a Changing Places compliant toilet. These additions offer long-term benefits for both daily garden visitors and large events held within the premises.
