Part of a full site master plan, Stage 1 includes a new Memory Care Unit and Residential Aged Care Unit across two storeys.

SMFA is working in partnership with Barunga Village and Re-imagine on a comprehensive site-wide master plan. Stage 1 of the redevelopment introduces a new two-storey Memory Care Unit and Residential Aged Care facility. Central to the design is a light-filled atrium— a versatile, multi-purpose space designed to offer a safe and engaging environment where residents can connect in ways that suit their individual needs. The thoughtfully planned layout enhances operational efficiency and promotes intuitive movement through a series of inviting indoor and outdoor communal areas.
