SMFA took on the Cruickshank Reserve Clubroom Redevelopment, commencing with a Feasibility Study.
Located in a challenging site at the rear of the Reserve, this project involves the creation of a Clubroom facility for the local Tennis and Netball Clubs. The site has complex limitations, including proximity to residential boundaries and susceptibility to flooding. Our design addresses fire safety and flood mitigation in collaboration with the Council and Consultant Team.
The facility will house new changerooms, a canteen, function spaces, and storage areas tailored to the needs of the sporting clubs. Additionally, public amenities will be provided for the wider community.
SMFA’s involvement started with a Feasibility Study, which informed a successful grant funding application. We have continued to provide services for the duration of the project. We also assisted
in the Expression of Interest (EOI) process with the Council to streamline contractor selection, contributing to project efficiency.
