The Gepps Cross Reserve Redevelopment was a successful collaboration between SMFA, the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, BluBuilt Constructions, the North Adelaide Lacrosse Club and Enfield United Community Cricket Club to create contemporary changeroom and clubroom facilities.
A new extension to the existing building provided modern changeroom and clubroom facilities that could cater to the specific needs of both sporting clubs. The extension also provided a medical room, umpires rooms and storage facilities. The existing facilities were repurposed and refurbished internally with upgrades to the Kitchen, Bar, Clubroom, and Amenities spaces.
Innovative design solutions were required to combat the challenging conditions of the site and fulfill the requirements of both the Council and the Clubs. Adaptable spatial planning was utilised to accommodate future growth for the Clubs.
The Gepps Cross Reserve Redevelopment project provides a facility that meets the diverse needs of the sporting community while providing room for future expansion.
