The Elephant British Pub

The Elephant British Pub has been artfully redesigned to create a spacious yet warm and inviting environment. A key driver of the design was to increase functionality and revitalise the venue that is a familiar favorite within Adelaide’s East End.

The new works included the internal refurbishment of the bar, dining/bistro area and bathrooms to improve spatial functionality and increase venue capacity. The upper level was refurbished and reconfigured to allow  two separate function spaces each with private access, bar amenities and generous balcony space. External works with new signage to enhance the presence of the venue within the East End.

The interior design pays homage to the pub’s rich heritage while infusing it with a fresh interpretation of a British pub. Elegant fluted glass, tanned leather accents, deep chevron herringbone floors and walnut joinery is a nod to the bar’s original character.

The character of the Elephant is complemented by contemporary design elements including ambient lighting, brass metal finishes and sleek black stone benchtops. The different spaces provided present an opportunity for patrons to choose an intimate space or more open gathering settings.
